Attend this unique master class on the secrets of overcoming the common blocks that stop actors from giving their best audition. Class is open to the public. Learn by watching me work with actors, talk about technique, and follow up with a lively question and answer about acting, singing and career. Be prepared with a short bit of a monlogue to try out if time allows.

A REVOLUTIONARY BREAKTHROUGH

IN TELEVISION AND MOVIE ACTING.

 

Have you ever wondered how some people look completely natural and real on camera while others look as if they are “acting.”  The secret is in understanding the role and the lines somatically (through the body.) 


Many terrific stage actors are stymied when is comes to auditioning and acting on camera. 
I’ve coached many actors who’ve landed roles on television and major films,

The camera picks up every little untruth. That’s why even if you don’t know much about acting, your intuition and subconscious can tell when a performance isn’t “real.”

The biggest hurdle for an actor is changing his or her concept that acting is an intellectual process. It’s not. Preparation is, but performance has to come from a deeper, more intuitive,  and wiser place, the body.

When we speak extempore in real life, if we had to search our minds and remember what to say, people would think we aren’t telling the truth! The same applies to acting! When we learn to allow the words to flow out, the text itself tells our relaxed body and soul how to behave and react. 

In this class you will see the secrets of great auditioning and great film acting. You’ll learn the same physical and vocal exercises and relaxation techniques I use in preparing for a role and have taught so many others.

Class is open to the public and advance tickets are only $25.
